Online radio is a big deal, whether you know it or not. A whopping 67% of Americans are tuned in monthly. UME Digital Media, through its partnership with Live 365, launched U-Me Radio under the registered call sign WUME-DB, New York, a member of the National association of Digital Broadcasters. And, to date, the station has had over 8000 listeners since its launch in February of this year, with an active listenership of over 5000.

According to Pew Research, 67% of Americans 12 years or older are listening to online radio monthly. The data shows that 90% of people in America are listening to the radio, weekly. In their cars, via car phone, 44% are listening to online radio and 33% listening to radio from online.
